2015 - Austin, Texas
Welcome to our next conference, the 13th annual North American Chevra Kadisha and Jewish Cemetery Conference which will be held at the Dell Campus in Austin Texas February 22 through 24, 2015.
Timing - Our conference is often in June, but this year will be February 22-24. The earlier date will make this a winter break for folks up North, with Austin temperatures in the moderate range. The conference officially begins at noon on Sunday and ends at 1pm on Tuesday. We will have workshops, talks, text study, networking, and meals through 11 pm each night and we start programming at 7am.
Watch for announcements of some pre and post conference activities.
Meals - In addition to Sunday brunch, we provide six Kosher meals as part of your conference registration. Please let us know if you have allergies or special dietary needs.
Flights - Direct flights to Austin, TX
Hotels - We have negotiated great hotel rates. Please don't wait to make your reservations.
Refunds:
90% of the registration fee if you cancel in writing before Jan 1.
80% of the registration fee if you cancel in writing before Jan 15.
50% of the registration fee if you cancel in writing Feb 1 or later, and only if you have a really good excuse!
Program - The conference program includes plenary presentations and four specialty tracks. Participants may stick to one track, or pick and choose among the tracks.
